Keith Lindbeck founded Keith Lindbeck & Associates in 1997 after working as Associate Director and Environment Manager for BSD Consultants Pty Ltd. Keith has had over 40 years experience working for the WA Department of Mines and Petroleum, WA Department of Agriculture and the NSW Soil Conservation Service and has gained international experience working in China, Indonesia, New Zealand, USA and Papua New Guinea.
After establishing Keith Lindbeck & Associates, Keith employed Belinda Clark (Senior Environmental Scientist), who had been working on mine sites since 2000, and Dr Vi Saffer (Senior Zoologist) who worked for 5 years in the Department of Environment and Conservation after completing her PhD in Biological Sciences at Murdoch University in Western Australia.
Belinda Clarkâs role at Keith Lindbeck & Associates is to assist the resources industries to gain approval, commence, operate and decommission projects according to the regulations in force at the time while utilising best practice technology. Belinda has a extensive knowledge of the West Australian approval process and botanical knowledge of the Pilbara.
Dr Vi Saffer assesses the potential impact of mining activities on fauna and fauna habitat, in accordance with Position Statements and Guidelines issued by the Environmental Protection Authority. Dr Saffer has the capability to conduct Level 1 and Level 2 fauna surveys. Keith Lindbeck & Associates has its own trapping equipment for full scale Level 2 fauna surveys, as well as its their own ANABATS (bat echolocation detectors).
